Blak Loud Vol. 21: NIMA Nominees Takeover This month, Blak Loud celebrates the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) with a special takeover by the 2024 nominees. The NIMAs, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will be held in Darwin on August 10th. Ahead of the main event, join us on August 9th for the Blak Loud showcase at Bustard Town, featuring electrifying performances by Jessica Mauboy, Miss Kaninna, and J-MILLA & Yung Milla. Jessica Mauboy: Faceout Artist of the Month Leading this month’s playlist is Jessica Mauboy with her hit track “Higher.” Jessica’s powerful vocals and emotional depth shine through in this song, making it a standout track that captures the essence of her artistry. As our ‘faceout’ artist, Jessica continues to inspire with her contributions to the music industry and her commitment to representing Indigenous voices.
